Expiration Review

Published documents can be set to expire periodically to enforce updates at regular intervals. When a document Expires, it goes into edit according to Expiration Settings chosen on the Document Properties- General tab.  These settings determine the time of the expiration and whether the document goes into edit to the editor of the most recent revision or the first user in the approver list with the Document Manager permission.  Once the document expires, it will be the editor's responsibility to make changes to keep the document up to date and release a new revision for approval. If nothing needs to be changed, the editor can republish the old revision through an Expiration Review.

1.From the Process menu, select Verify the Document is Up to Date.  Please note that this option is available only for documents that have gone into edit due to expiration.
